FINISHING SCHOOL FOR TEACHERS 


PIFI in association with Academy for Creative Teaching (ACT) has come up with a new concept of increasing the competency of the teachers to meet the demands of the standards expected of any international school. This programme is designed to give finesse to the trained teachers and fine tune prospective teachers. It helps in the smooth transition of a student teacher to a full-fledged teacher to face the classroom with confidence. This course is not a replicate of what is learnt in the B.Ed College but complements it. The course is enriched with supplementary materials and information empowering teachers with necessary skills and attitudes. FST is a comprehensive course, which encourages the teacher to strive hard to be effective and a creative person. Hard work and consistent efforts from the teacher during these three months will be a gratifying experience.   This course will also help fresh graduates who would like to take up teaching profession.

    The course requirement is 6 general papers and one subject specific paper.

    EVALUATION
    The evaluation system would be based on grades. Assessment would be based on assignments, projects, presentations, and participation during the sessions.

    9 am to 4 pm (Mon to Fri)
    9 am to 1 pm (Sat)
